Club MomMe will be having their Annual Spring Family Fest on Sunday April 19th from 11:00-5:00pm. Over at The Muckenthaler Estate & Cultural Center in Fullerton Ca.

This is a HUGE!!! Event that’s fun for all!!!! There will be lots of activities for the kids along with 7 interactive lounges and popular speakers and panels. Just like at other Club MomMe events you will -Try tasty and healthy snacks and drinks for you and the kids. I personally love this part because you really do find new favorites Josh calls them all snackeys! 🙂

Club MomMe Hosts 3-6 events per month in 5 cities and at the events you will meet other parents with children the same age as yours. You will also try out and learn about new products for the different stages. Not to mention trying new snacks for both parents and children 🙂 and ready for it……. Everyone takes home a gift bag filled with goodies and discounts! But most importantly everyone will have lots of fun 🙂

Club MomMe is a Great Parents club that gets you out there whether it’s out having fun or learning new things for your kids. Club MomMe was made for Moms, Dads, families with kids under 6 and expectant parents. 🙂

Going to Spring Family Fest will really give you a good idea of what they are about. And I’m happy to be doing a GiveAway!!!!!! Kids Space Free Family Night — November

Its that Time again 🙂 Kids Space Free Family night is today hard to believe the First Tuesday of the month is here again. 🙂

Free Family Night:
Tuesday, November 4, 4:00 to 8:00 pm – Celebrate California’s native cultures during Free Family Night in November. Grind rocks to make paint and use it to create Chumash-inspired cave paintings, explore native instruments and music, and enjoy Native American storytelling in the Celebration Center at 6:30 pm. Free Family Night is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Michael J. Connell Foundation, and the City of Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission. Heritage Park will once again be the site for the annual Pow Wow.

The event will celebrate Native America life through dancing, singing,
drumming, and food. Exhibitors will be on hand to offer Native
American-made products such as jewelry, clothing, blankets, and
pottery.
This event is hosted but not funded by the City of Santa Fe Springs.

Japanese Garden Festival at Descanso Gardens

The Japanese Garden Festival will feature Taiko Drummers,Ikebana and more. Descanso Gardens celebrates the art and culture of Japan at the Annual Japanese Garden Festival on Saturday Nov 8th and Sunday Nov 9th. The weekend will include taiko and drum performances,ikebana display, a garden tour and more. All these events are free with admission to the Gardens 🙂

Ikebana Display, both days 9am-5pm the art of flower arranging, is one of the most actively practiced of Japan’s traditional arts.The Sogetsu school of Ikebana promotes a contemporary and international understanding of this art form.

Japanese Garden Tour, Sat only @10am Dr Kendall Brown, Professor os Asian art and history and author of “Quiet Beauty :The Japanese gardens of North America”, leads an in depth tour of the Descanso Japenese Garden.

Camellia Lounge, both days 11am-3pm: Patina will sell distinctive Japanese cuisine,sake and beverages.

Taiko drummers, Both days 11:30am and 1:30pm: Always a crowd pleaser,the Taiko drummers from Kishin daiko perform their feats of percussive magic 🙂

Admission to descanso Gardens is $9 general,$6 seniors/students with ID,$4 children 5-12, and children 4 and younger FREE 🙂
